I just want to join the chant that VistaPro4 crashes soon as I plug in a camera - 12 seconds after to be exact. My system is a Core2 Duo with recent Intel motherboard and SATA hard drives. I've tried three different video cards, removing the sound card and it still crashes. While I'm running XP, I downloaded the "upgrade" version of VistaPro4 from the Lorex site, along with the "update" drivers. Runs great on an old Dell P4/2.6mhz though. Installed them and the app crashes just as before. Does Lorex even test this stuff before they put it up for sale?

I bought this card to go into a inexpensive Dell computer that I bought just for this purpose. I have Windows XP SP3 on it and nothing else. It works great. I can remote in from work and see what is going on at home. I am using 3 cameras that are also Lorex. I would purchase this again and have recommend it to others.

As the other reviewer stated it will not work on XP SP3. Same exact error. Google revealed more of the same. This install was on a brand new pc with nothing other then the OS installed. I cant seem to locate any kind of support. If its not an OS issue their may be a compatability issue with the Core Duo or SATA drives. Either way it needs to be addressed by the manufacturer.
