I have had the camera bag for several weeks now and have gone on a couple of weekenders with it. My DSLR and lense fit perfectly. I will give it a real try out in November when I take a trek across Holland and Belgium.

I was looking for a comfy carrying bag for my digital slr, one that i could take on my vacations, or travels, and that i could go out when walking or going to several places by bus, train or whatever and not having the difficulty of showing a big case or backpack that would make people think im some kind of nut tourist , just one simple bag to carry two lenses maybe, my batteries, an external flash and of course the camera. Its enough for this and well i think you can do well if you know what type of photo you'll be taking on you trip and carry just what you need. And is very comfortable it may not be 100% fasionable but it still looks good not that geek much. highly recommended

I loaded this pack with my camera gear (Olympus E-520 & 4 lenses, plus minor accessories) & walked around the house - after only a few minutes, I realized that I would not find it at all comfortable for any real field use! With some additional "fiddling", I found that if the pack is adjusted to ride high enough on your back to be even semi-comfortable, it is so high that accessing the gear when swung around to the front is quite awkward - if it's adjusted low enough to allow easy access to your gear, it rides so low that it becomes even more uncomfortable & floppy. I returned the pack - & returned to my "tried & true" ancient Lowepro belt rig with padded camera case & auxiliary pouches for lenses, etc. Although this "Sling Pack" sounds like a great idea, I think that either a belt rig or conventional-style backpack is going to be much better, in terms of both comfort &/or accessibility, depending on the bulk & weight of the gear you want to carry.
