I have had this bag now for 2 years and it is very rugged and comfortable. I have taken it all across the US and Mexico, and next week will take it to Europe for a week and a half. It is a great carry-on to fit all of my electronics in so I don't have to worry about checking them when I fly. I fit my D50 with the 18-200VR attached to it, an SB-600, camcorder, Nikon 50mm prime, Tokina 12-24mm, and several memory cards, cleaning products and filters in it with no problems. The zippered top half is great for storing cables, chargers and misc. items. When I leave my laptop at the hotel room I can pack my travel books and maps in the padded compartment for easy access. The bag can get pretty heavy when fully loaded with gear but the padded straps allow you to wear it without discomfort. I would recommend this backpack to anyone who travels or needs a rugged bag to store their gear in. Next week I hope to finally try out the tabs on the bottom when I take my travel tripod with me.

First off Tamarac makes great products I have several of them. I don't gloat for the fun of it. But in Tamrac's case I will. I bought a Aero Camera/laptop backpack and used it a lot. but it does not have a chest or waist strap, it was made for quick access. When wearing my backpack and riding my motorcycle I turned to look over my shoulder to check traffic and the right strap slid off. I was wearing a leather jacket so the lack of friction was a factor This is no way is a bad reflection on Tamrac just me not doing my homework. I ended up getting the Adventure 9 in camo, I think I fell in love with this bag from day one, I ride a motorcycle most of the time and the waist and chest straps keep it secured. I know my computer and camera gear are safe. My load is heavy mostly the large laptop I carry. I work part time and go to College in the morning(Photography Major) I also like the fact it does not scream camera bag. and it has two water bottle pockets a big plus for those of us living in the desert.
