As Sylvie said above, this was really easy. Just need an Allen wrench and about 5 minutes. The bulb in our t.v. had dimmed slowly over the last few months evidently and the brightness difference was almost shocking to me afterward. lol I ordered from Amazon Partner River Valley Electronics and paid for expidited shipping yesterday and the bulb was delivered today. Stunning shipping/handling imop. Price was good too.

The bulb is exactly what I needed. Our picture is as bright as the day we purchased our TV. Excellent value!

I am sooo happy I didn't pay $400 to have a technician come out and replace the lamp in our Sony flat screen. This was so super easy to replace that I couldn't believe it!!! The directions are not included with the lamp, but they were in my owner's manual. I started to laugh when I took the front tv panels off. I paid the best price around(it's $200 most places), the shipping was fast, and most importantly, the lamp was in perfect condition when it arrived. Never buy a lamp warranty policy on a new tv!! We paid $200, never used it for 3 years, it expired, and now we had to buy a new lamp-good price, but we're still out an extra $140. Plus I found out the lamp policy would have only covered a lamp and I still would have had to install it myself. What a rip-off!!
