The Sony HVR-M25 incorporates a compact and simple design, for better desktop recording. The built-in 2.7" LCD display lets you preview easily. It features 1080i, DVCAM and DV SP recording and playback capability for easy migration. It also features playback of HDV 720p pre-recorded tapes and mini-size DV cassettes. Works with standard-sized cassettes that allow up to 276 minutes of HDV recording. The HVR-M25 provides down-conversion functions from HD to SD and is switchable between 60 and 50 Hz (NTSC/PAL) for full flexibility depending on production needs. Edge crop adjustment - check the crop position on the LCD monitor before downcoverting Marker Burn - Operator edits pictures for 16 - 9 and 4 - 3 aspect ratio Auto Repeat and Custom Repeat functions allow operators to set a repeat number of times, repeat interval and start time of repeat Time code settings - select between Rec Run & Free Run; frame mode can be switched between DF(drop frame), NDF(non-drop frame), and Auto Status Check - Audio level meter, video out, iLink Assignable buttons - Frequently-used functions can be assigned to the A1, A2 and A3 buttons
