I purchased this color filter in conjunction with the Marine Pack MPK-THE, and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Between the depths of 6 feet and 36 feet this color filter is essential for true-color underwater photography. Without the filter all of your pictures will turn out looking blue, and you wont be able to appreciate the true reds, oranges, and yellows you may see on your dive/snorkel. In excess of 36 feet there's not enough light for the filter to be very effective, and the need for an underwater strobe flash is required. This is a great product, and was perfect for my scuba dives on the Great Barrier Reef, just be sure that you're aware of its limitations on deep sea dives.

On a recent snorkling trip i used the filter and picture had a red tint. I found the pictures were better without the filter. This was my first experience using a filter with an under water camera so may be i am not doing something right.

When taking deep depths photos, you loose all hot color, this filter corrects this and makes it easier to retouch your photos. My photos got really better after I started using it.
