Great semi-wide, telephoto lens. Found this thing at Ritz Camera... for a bargain, in my honest opinion. No need to over-spend when you can get more than you need at half the price. I feel like buying a second, just as back-up. I'm not even kidding. This is a great lens for an active amateur photographer. It gets very sharp pictures with great contrast. I've had mine for over 2 years, with no problems whatsoever. And even if it did break, it's cheap enough (at like $120) to barely care. It's not like the competition...$300 for the same exact thing. It's only downfall, I'd have to say, is the auto-focus. While it focuses well, it's a bit loud...and a bit slow...especially in low light (obviously). That said, it's not supposed to be fast, so we can't hold that against the thing. But for the price, you really can't go wrong. Trust me. Honest review.
