This is our most versatile go-anywhere astro package. The upgraded ShortTube 80 optical tube assembly sports 400mm focal length (f/5.0) optics, now fully multi-copated for bright, wide-field images. On the VersaGo altazimuth mount the scope glides effortlessly to your target. Simple, uncomplicated observing -- what a concept! The telescope sports a 90-deg star diagonal, two wide-field Expanse eyepieces (20mm and 9mm), and a big 8x40 finder scope. It's great for deep-sky treasure hunting and Moon gazing. The VersaGo lets you guide your telescope with unprecedented single-control ease. In addition to super-smooth operation, you have a full range of motion from horizon to zenith. Plus, you can be set up in less than a minute! With an optical tube that measures only 15-1/2", this versatile setup is delightfully portable for those spur-of-the-moment observing jaunts.
