The Orion SkyQuest XT8 8-Inch Classic Dobsonian Telescope makes stargazing really fascinating and enormously educational. But, this does not make the Orion SkyQuest XT8 8-Inch Classic Dobsonian Telescope out-of-reach, rather it is one of the most affordable quality Dobsonian available in the market. The telescope features a parabolic mirror housed in an enameled steel optical tube. The tube stands on a solid Dobsonian base that helps in easy point-and-view navigation. It comes equipped with a convenient carrying handle. Other features include 2-inch Crayford-style focuser for sensitive adjustments, EZ Finder II reflex sight for aiming the telescope and 25mm Sirius Plossl eyepiece for 52-degree apparent field of view for clear, sharp images. The telescope also includes a collimation cap and free Starry Night astronomy software.

Pros & Cons :suffering from the new telescope curse, i have not had a single night of good seeing where i was not at work or so sick i couldn't crawl out of bed.
