Since the built in flash on my Evolt 510 left something to be desired of I opted for this one, a little pricey(for me) but is does a great Job. I really like the Flash Bracketing and I am very happy with my Purchase.

Having played with the flash for a few weeks now I can say I am very happy with it. It has an impressive ability to cast light up to several metres away (depending on settings). It allows you to shoot great shots inside or in low light conditions with decent shutter speeds (though technically limited to 1/60th, you can shoot faster). I would highly recommend this flash for anyone considering purchasing a flash for their Olympus camera; though a little steep in price, it does provide exactly what most consumers want from a flash - unless you know you need a more powerful flash this is the one too buy. Do note, that though it supports a range of different batteries (alkaline, Nicad and Lithium), it doesn't support rechargeable version of the lithium (CR-V3 / LB-01) batteries.

I WASN'NT SURE I NEEDED MORE FLASH POWER THAN WHAT WAS BUILT IN TO MY SP570UZ OLYMPUS CAMERA, BUT I THOUGHT, WHAT THE HECK, I'M GOING TO GET ONE OF THESE FLASH UNITS ANYWAY. WHEN I RECEIVED THIS UNIT, I PUT BATTERIES IN IT AND PUT IT ON MY CAMERA AND TOOK A FEW SHOTS. IMMEDIATELY I COULD SEE THE MUCH BETTER ILLUMINATION PROVIDED BY THIS FLASH. I USE RECHARGABLE BATTERIES IN IT AND AFTER TRYING A FEW DIFFERENT BRANDS, I FINALLY FOUND SOME THAT LAST MORE THAN A FEW DAYS. I AM USING DURACELL RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES AND THEY ARE DOING A GOOD JOB, ALONG WITH THE FLASH UNIT.
