does exactly what i want it to do. as many have already noted, it does not come with instructions. so if you dont know how to use it, flip through your cameras instructional guide - and it will walk you through! its extremely simple. also, many have noted how the infrared sensor is on the front of the camera - hence, you need to stand in front of the camera in order for the remote to work. however, i havent had this problem. i have been able to stand not only to the side, but also directly behind the camera and the remote still works. maybe ive just been lucky, but ive used the remote with my nikon d60 for over 6 months now and never had a problem. cheers!

Only two flaws to this device, one is not all that responsive when shooting behind your camera and second, even though it's small and doesn't take up much space, you could easily loose it when re-shooting those long exposure shots. But the good side to the smallness, its very portable in your camera neck strap so you can't practically whip it out anywhere on the fly. I shoot a lot more longer exposure shots now to avoid any slight camera shake and the infrared wireless shutter release makes it just a point and shoot opportunity.
