A great bang-for-the-buck porro prism binocular, the Action series by Nikon feature knobby rubber armored housings. Their high-refraction prisms feature wide fields of view. And every Action model has a tripod adapter threading for easy extended glassing from a stationary position (requires optional tripod adapter #7650). The 7x50 model, with its broad 7.1mm exit pupil, is ideally suited to both extremely lowlight observations or while aboard a moving vehicle or platform during the daylight. All of Nikon's binocular line is backed up by the No-Fault lifetime warranty. Regardless of what happens to your binoculars-even of your own negligence-Nikon will repair or replace (at their option) your binocular for just $10 plus the return shipping costs.
