If you have a smaller DSLR camera or small lenses then this could be a great choice for you. Construction seems top notch and the innovative, removable padding wrap makes this a bag that could have utility beyond a mere camera bag. Unfortunately the Terraclime 100 falls short, at least for me. The biggest issue is the size. Its just too small to hold a Canon 50D with any of my lenses attached. Forget about carrying additional lenses or a flash, no room. My second gripe with the bag is the buckles to hold the top flap closed. They are not adjustable in any way and instead of fastex type buckles, they are a "insert TAB A into SLOT B" sort of arrangement. Not convenient and had they been adjustable the bag just might have worked. With no adjustments available its the kiss of death. Due to these two things this bag will be going back to Amazon and I'll be searching for another alternative.

I bought this bag for its green credentials. I applaud Lowepro for incorporating recycled materials into their product line. I hope they continue to do so.However, I feel this bag is not designed for SLRs. First of all, the bag does not retain shape. So your camera and your lens gets squished around. It barely fits a camera and a lens. Taking the camera and lens out of the bag also is not a fun experience. I like shooting a lot of pictures when I am on a trip. I take my camera in and out of my bag a lot. This bag is not practical for that. This works well for carrying point and shoot cameras, books, cell phones, car keys and things of that nature. I ended up returning it.

Just the thing I was looking for. Minimal. No hard-core bulky foam padding. Doesn't look like a tell-tale camera bag. I only wish it was a bit deeper or larger although it fits my D300 and lens + one just fine, it won't fit much more; I like to carry reading material, etc., an outside pocket on the back would have been nice. Strap is long enough to wear cross-torso which I would recommend instead of side shoulder. Strap is wide enough - I added my own strap pad to shoulder the weight. Not entirely wild about the closures which takes some effort to secure. The lightly padded external fabric, whatever it's made of, is nice and soft, not scratchy like some. The black is cool with the lime green camera wrap and lining. I would consider a larger version if available. All in all, I am pleased with my new camera bag.
