Pros & Cons :in continues recording using time-lapse mode you get close to 5 hours out of it (lcd closed), and in regular recording modes, like filming the sunset in a tripod you get close to 4 hours, in a conventional recording situations when you turn on and off the camcorder, zoom in and out a lot of times and having the lcd open you may not get the full 3 hours but it gets very close.
