Nikkor digital advance lens

The biggest advantage of SLR digital cameras is the ability to interchange lenses which adds flexibility in your SLR camera. Another advantage would be that a good lens on a low end SLR camera would do quite well in terms of picture quality. Sticking to lenses let us look at Nikon’s Prime lenses in the Nikkor digital advance lens.
The Nikkor prime digital advance lens is basically a lens which has a single focal point. Most other lenses offer a range of focal points which help in zooming in and out. In simple words the Nikkor Prime lens is a lens which has no zoom capabilities. Now most of you would be wondering as why anyone would want a Prime lens. Well the Nikkor Prime lenses are smaller, lighter and a lot more compact compared to zoom lenses which are sometimes ridiculously large. These lenses are a lot faster and offer wide apertures of f/2.8, f/1.8 or even f/1.4. What this means is that it allows more light to come which is quite advantageous as you can increase your shutter speed. This allows you to hand hold your camera a lot more than using a tripod. The lens allows more light in so the viewfinder will be brighter which will make it easier to confirm focus thereby giving you sharp images.
Now since there is virtually no zoom capabilities with Nikkor Prime lenses you would have to physically move closer or further away from the object. Now this might sound like a disadvantage but this does bring out the creativity in a photographer. Lastly Nikkor Prime lenses are excellent for high definition video recording which is something most SLR cameras aren’t very good. .
