I bought this hoping it would be a good cheap beginners webcam. Well cheap is most definately the word. I installed the programs needed with no problem, but as soon as i connected the webcam my computer shut down and lost the entire picture. I have had nothing but trouble with the computer since then. And I have still yet to get the webcam to actually work. It requires a high amount of memory to run. I would definately not suggest this product unless you know a computer tech willing to fix the computer after the damage is done

Great product! For the price (under $12 total), it's an excellent buy. The software is very easy to install and the camera hooks up quickly. I was using the webcam in about 5min. It has a manual focus that allows you to adjust on the fly, very simple. It's not the best camera out there we all know, but like I mentioned earlier, for this price, I think it's a great buy. I love it. I don't feel I need any other more expense webcam, this definitely does the job. The only drawback of this webcam is that it doesn't come with a microphone or an adjustable clamp (typically for laptops). However, I can buy those things seperately and still be under the $30-50 range.
